Dr Alan Dobson (retired)

Dr Alan Dobson graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1970 and joined Warrandyte Road Clinic in 1974.

He is passionate about all facets of general practice but particularly enjoys geriatric medicine and mental health. In addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, he also holds the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Diploma of Child Health (London). He was a board member of Mitcham Hospital for 15 years and for many years enjoyed teaching medical students as honorary lecturer in obstetrics at Monash University.

His interests include playing with his grandchildren, listening to music, participating in his church and following sports. He has been a long suffering Western Bulldogs supporter. Dr Dobson retired in June 2017.
