Dr Mark Epstein graduated from Monash University in 1981 and after extensive hospital experience has worked at the Warrandyte Road Clinic for over 25 years. His post-graduate qualifications have included the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

He enjoys all aspects of General Practice including adult and paediatric medicine.

Dr Michael Mackay gained his medical degree in 1986 and completed the Dip. RACOG in 1989 before entering the family medicine program.

Dr Jason Oh graduated from the University of Melbourne and enjoys all facets of general practice, with interests in antenatal pregnancy care, mens health and skin cancer surgery.

He has been involved in teaching medical students and is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He was honorary secretary of the Australian Chinese Medical Association and served on the council of the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) until 2013.

Dr Esther Dang graduated from Monash University in 2007. She graduated from Monash University in 2007 and worked in various hospitals, including Eastern Health and Monash Medical Centre during her residency years. Additionally, she has a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as a Diploma in Child Health via the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

She enjoys all facets of general practice, with special interests in women's and children's health.

Dr Dang will be away on maternity leave from April 2023.

Dr Kristina Flego graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2000. She spent 5 years in the public hospital system as a resident working in a variety of different areas of medical practice, before completing her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women in 2006. She entered general practice, being awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008 and completing a Masters of Public Health at the University of Sydney in 2010.

She enjoys all facets of general practice but has interests in antenatal pregnancy care and women’s health.

Dr Michelle Zhang initially grew up in China before moving to Melbourne where she gained her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 1994. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005 and had an established family practice in Geelong for many years, before her recent move back to Melbourne.

She enjoys all facets of general practice, with special interests in women’s health, mental health and dermatology. Outside of medicine, she enjoys knitting, cooking and shopping.

Dr Maneesha Weerasinghe

Born and raised in Melbourne, Dr Maneesha ventured from home to complete her medical studies at the University of Notre Dame, Western Australia in 2013. Having worked in Shepparton, Sunbury and Carlton, Maneesha has gained experience in a range of specialties. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of general practice including preventative health and paediatrics.

In her spare time, Maneesha enjoys singing with a Sri Lankan choir named ConChord, going for walks, cycling and playing easy guitar.

Dr Isaac Khoo completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2007 and worked extensively in several major hospitals including the Austin Hospital and Peninsula Health before entering general practice.

His special interests include general medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and minor procedures. He is also able to converse in Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr Philip McKenzie graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1988, and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993.

He has been a full-time GP at Warrandyte Road Clinic since 1993. His practice covers all facets of general practice with a particular interest in Cardiology.

Dr Sara Safari

Dr Sara Safari has joined Warrandyte Road Clinic in March 2023. She has a special interest in women’s health, breast cancer screening, gastrointestinal problems, sport medicine and musculoskeletal pain and injuries, although she enjoys all aspects of medicine.

Sara worked for many years as a surgical registrar, with extensive experience in breast, endocrine, gastrointestinal and general surgery. In addition to a post-graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy, Sara is a sports and musculoskeletal physician with a Masters of Sports Medicine from the University of Queensland. She regularly assists orthopaedic surgeons in surgical procedures.

Dr Cybele Tran obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne and subsequently received her fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2001. She also holds a Certificate in Women’s Health.

With multifold years of experience to her name, Dr Tran is a compassionate doctor with a patient-centred approach to health care. She provides consultations for all aspects of General Medicine, Family Medicine and Men’s Health. She is passionate about Women’s Health and Children’s Health.

Dr Kinson Lao graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2017. He subsequently undertook his internship and medical residency years in Bendigo and North West Victoria. He attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022 and until mid-2023 had been working as a general practitioner in Warrnambool and Port Fairy.

Kinson enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly chronic disease management, mental health and skin cancer surgery, and speaks Cantonese in addition to English. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, bouldering, table tennis and hiking.
