Dr Sara Safari enjoys all aspects of medicine, but has a special interest in sports medicine and musculoskeletal pain and injuries as well as women’s health, breast cancer screening and gastrointestinal problems.

In addition to being a general practitioner, Sara is an experienced sports and musculoskeletal physician with a Masters of Sports Medicine from the University of Queensland and a post-graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy. She regularly works with orthopaedic surgeons and assists in orthopaedic surgical procedures at various hospitals around Melbourne. She is an expert in the area of PRP injections and the use of ultrasound for diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries.
