Dr Michelle Zhang moved from China to Melbourne and gained her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 1994. She worked extensively in the Victorian hospital system for several years, including experience at Box Hill Hospital and Geelong Hospital, before gaining the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. She had an established family practice in Geelong for many years, before her recent move back to Melbourne.
She enjoys all facets of general practice, with special interests in women’s health, mental health and dermatology. Outside of medicine, she enjoys knitting, cooking and shopping.
