Dr Sara Safari has joined Warrandyte Road Clinic in March 2023. She has a special interest in women’s health, breast cancer screening, gastrointestinal problems, sports medicine and musculoskeletal pain and injuries, although she enjoys all aspects of medicine.
Sara worked for many years as a surgical registrar, with extensive experience in breast, endocrine, gastrointestinal and general surgery. In addition to a post-graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy, Sara is a sports and musculoskeletal physician with a Masters of Sports Medicine from the University of Queensland. She regularly assists orthopaedic surgeons in surgical procedures.
