Menopause is an inevitable part of every woman’s life. It’s not a disease and therefore doesn’t have to be ‘treated’. However, many women struggle with significant symptoms for many years and find their life can be improved with advice and medical assistance.

Symptoms can include troublesome menstrual patterns, vaginal dryness, hot flushes and night sweats. These can be draining, both physically and emotionally. Women often suffer in silence, thinking the inconveniences of menopause are unavoidable. However, there are simple, safe treatment options available.

It is helpful to understanding what symptoms to expect as well as what options are available for how to dealing with them. Every woman is different and deserves an individually tailored solution. Menopause is also an ideal time to reassess risk factors for heart disease, bone health and mental health.
